How to Use Doheny's Algaecide 60

One of the best products on the market for controlling algae is Doheny's Algaecide 60. This powerful algaecide works quickly to kill existing algae and prevent new growth, ensuring your pool stays looking its best.

In this blog post, we’ll discuss how to use Doheny’s Algaecide 60 for swimming pool care.

First, test your pool water to determine the chlorine and pH levels. If either of these levels are not within the proper range, you’ll need to adjust them before adding the algaecide. Once the levels are correct, you’re ready to add Doheny’s Algaecide 60 to your pool.

Start by adding 1 quart of algaecide for every 10,000 gallons of pool water. Pour the algaecide in the deep end of the pool and allow it to circulate with the pool’s filtration system.

After 24 hours, check the chlorine and pH levels again and adjust if necessary. To maintain a healthy pool, you should add Doheny’s Algaecide 60 once a month. With regular use, you can keep your pool clean and clear of algae.
