Swimming pool maintenance is essential if you want to enjoy crystal-clear water and hassle-free pool ownership. Using BioGuard Algicide 28-40 is an effective way to keep your pool free from algae and bacteria. Here’s how to use it:

1. Balance Your Pool:

Before adding any chemicals, it’s important to ensure the pH and alkalinity levels in your pool are properly balanced. The ideal range for pH is 7.2-7.6 and for alkalinity 80-120 ppm.

2. Add the Algicide:

Once your pool is balanced, add BioGuard Algicide 28-40 to your pool water. Be sure to follow the directions on the label for the appropriate dosage.

3. Circulate the Pool:

After adding the algicide, it’s important to circulate the pool water to ensure it is evenly distributed. This can be done with a pool pump or a pool vacuum.

4. Test the Water:

Once the algicide has been added, it’s important to test the water to ensure the levels of chlorine and pH are balanced.

5. Monitor Algae:

Monitor the pool for any signs of algae and treat as necessary.

By following these simple steps, you can ensure your pool is properly maintained and free from algae and bacteria using BioGuard Algicide 28-40. This will help keep your pool looking great and allow you to enjoy your pool all season long.
